Keep up the good work. Do you get government funding or local council funding to run this organisation?

Thanks for the question!

Currently we are completely self funded and receive no funding from the government/ council or any charities.

One of the ways we raise our funds is through the furniture bank where we sell appliances and furniture at a minimum cost- this money directly funds the food bank.

In the future we would love to be supported by local businesses or generous donors.

You have really helped my daughter who is going through a really tough time. I have helped as much as I can but without your kind service I have no idea what we would have done. I hope you get some local funding in the future as our authorities waste plenty of money on useless projects but that is normally the case. Really appreciate what you have done for my daughter and her kiddies x

I called the SFAFB today and spoke at length to your manager and we had a very intuitive chat. I am an ex councillor and also very experienced in the charity sector. I have offered my help and support and wish you the best of luck with this venture. Unfortunately, it ticks all the boxes for the world we live in today. I am quite confident an organisation like this can secure funding from many sources and as discussed I am more than happy to offer my help. I have left my contact details. I have also made a small donation on the website and my wife is putting together a large food donation for next week.
