I would just like to express my disgust at the simple fact we actually need Food Banks in 2022. Why are people putting up with this nonsense and keeping on feeding the system. We always have enough for bombs and wars and big pay rises for government ministers , makes me sick as they have total contempt for the man in the street. Council Tax , huge increases in energy bills , food items gone up 20% in some places , fuel up , mortgage interest rates up so rents will rise and have the wages risen to accommodate this NO is the answer. Anyway in my humble opinion the only way things will change is if people stop paying taxes and council tax and refuse to pay these huge energy price increases. You stop feeding the beast and it crumbles. Rant over. I have contacted yourselves from the website as I have some household items you are more than welcome too.

You are spot on Celwyn. I was laid of work 6 months ago due to health problems and have had to go on benefits for the first time in my life. I have 3 kids and the mrs works part time and 3 weeks ago we had to go to the food bank or we just would not have been able to feed the kids. We have a very normal lifestyle, not been on holiday for 5 years a non existant social life , dont drink or smoke or do drugs and with the cost of food going up and energy prices increase i cant see us have another holiday in the next 5 years. This country and whole system is fucked , apologies for language but it is. When i see people from other countries being welcomed into the uk when we have so many problems in our own country with homelessness i just cannot get my head round who makes these decisions. You work hard all your life and follow the rules and it will get you no where if you need help.
