SFAFB is a community project, in the early stages of development. We are a not-for-profit organisation, & at present receive no funding from the local council, government, or other agencies. We can help those in need purely because of the kind nature & generosity of the people of Staffordshire.

Right now, we are in need of storage premises for furniture & appliances. Can you help? As we run entirely on donations, we can’t afford to pay huge costs, but are happy to contribute.

We are also in the market for a new van! Our present vehicle resembles a shed on wheels. In order to keep delivering items to people in need, & collecting much needed donations, we need a reliable, fit for purpose vehicle. Do you know a business or individual who could help?

As a food & furniture bank, we of course need donations of food, furniture, appliances, & even clothes. There many people in our community who need help & support with the basics, this is the reality of the current economic situation in the UK. Families are more & more frequently going without essentials, & it is our job as a community to offer support.

We will be writing to local Staffordshire businesses in the hope we will get enough support to use them as a base to receive donations & leave literature to make people aware of our cause, as well as leaflet drops throughout the Staffordshire area. If you have an hour to spare, we are always looking for people to distribute leaflets for us!

We also have a page on our website to promote local tradespeople. The aim of this is to promote local services, which offer excellent work at great prices. We are hoping to have many trades on board, with the option to review in order to build a strong community network of trusted services.

Many people give generously to well established large & small charitable institutions which is fantastic. Our main aim here at SFAFB is to make sure all donations we receive end up getting to the Staffordshire people that need it most. We offer full transparency in what we do, & always welcome people to call us if they have any queries.

We are a community project, which can only function with the support of the community. Please help us get the word out by sharing us on social media so those in need can access our support & those with the means to donate can help us grow!
